Corvette Corral –

The National Corvette Museum sponsored Corvette Corral was bristling with all the new Corvette’s – ZR1’s, Z06’s, Grand Sports, Convertibles, Coupes and special Katech versions. The Corvette Corral was again the largest corral at Petit and definitely the meeting place for all Corvette owners and enthusiasts to be – Only Corvette Spoken Here! 

 

Johnny O’Connell’s Auction Supporting Alzheimer’s –

 Famous driver/auctioneer Johnny O’Connell.

Johnny’s Auction (to honor his dad who suffered from Alzheimer’s) has been a major event at Petit since 2001. Everyone knows a family with someone that has Alzheimer’s and that provides the passion for the auction. Entertainment was provided by Johnny’s daughter Kelly singing a Taylor Swift song. Many valuables were auctioned – a day of karting with Johnny and his son Canaan, dinner with Doug Fehan, pistons from Katech, tires from Michelin, drivers’ helmets, gloves and suits, race car components, paintings, photographs, flags and racing memorabilia. All this for a very worthy cause…Thanks Johnny!
