During development of the 2005 C6 Corvette, there were a lot of ideas floating around about what it was going to look like... Here are a few:

September 2003 - GM Releases Official Photo of C6 Corvette.

In June of 2003, Autoweek Magazine published the "Spy" photos of the C6 Corvette.  Tom Kowaleski Vice President of GMNA Communications made this statement: "For everyone who has written in anxiously anticipating the new Corvette C6 ---  Great to hear from you. Despite Autoweek's attempt to peek behind the covers, we can only say, you haven't seen the real car yet. You won't be disappointed!"

However, in September of 2003, GM Released this Official photo of the 2005 Corvette C6 (Click on the image for larger view).

Real thing ? Maybe. Ringer ? Maybe... Anyway, here it is for your discussion.
